Pyo is the electrifying project of Brussels-based Karel Piot. Between Ekkstacy, Mareux, and The Haunted Youth, Pyo's music is a blend of modern post-punk and the new-wave sounds of the eighties. In his retro cyberpunk universe bathed in dreams and neon lights, Pyo unveils his direct and introspective lyrics. The discomfort of our era embraced in a warm embrace of melancholy. Through his vibrant and sincere energy, Pyo externalizes what he has kept inside for years. Accompanied on stage by musicians Aidan Gibson and Simon Bouillon, the live performance becomes his liberating catharsis. He has thus demonstrated his determination on stages like the Reflektor in Liége or the Entrepot in Arlon. After his first wave of successful singles such as "Midnight Sunlight" and "So Tired," the Brussels-based artist is set to release his debut EP in the spring of 2024.
